creamy, chicken, PENNE!

well, today. i think i'll just be boring and tell you what i did today. and you will sit down and listen okay

today started off badly. most mornings do. i miss out my nine hours of required sleep and wake up feeling upset about everything. breakfast was in silence and rushed and leaving the house wasnt exactly a polite affair as far as goodbyes and have a nice days go. then again they hardly ever are these days.

the bus came by the time the second song came round on my ipod.

first lesson was ms victor's lit class. pretty bad start to a day, i must say. some teachers just irritate me no matter how hard they try to be nice.
got the big comfy rolling chair, for that lesson. it's a teachers' chair and it sat itself down at my table so i sat on it. how comfortable.

then it was gp. i like miss chiew's lessons. but today we did an essay. which was pretty..notso good of course. i think the question was:
is filial piety an overrated virtue?

zihua reminded me later on that i could have used jay chou as an example here. filial piety, being compassionate to parents is something i think everyone should come to realise no matter how your folks are.

i think what came next was art tutorial. am i boring you? i spent the hour reading sarah the senior's coursework, a comic. about a girl who fantasizes about some boy-friend she has. pretty much a girly fantasy for her i believe. but the copics and watercolours were pretty inspiring. art lessons recently have become rather inspiring actually, seeing all my friends' works. so well done you awesome people.

then lunch came around. to the western food! pasta came and of course, i learnt the importance of penne and its proper pronunciations from enci and qixuan. i sneaked marie's newspaper and learnt that liverpool's getting kinda screwed up right now. well that's just too bad for them, i wouldnt have minded if they won the league, but theyre now sitting third. looks like it'll be united's year again, oh hooray.

i went down to the court to play ball. stanley and eve and jo and i sweated around randomly for about an hour, which was pretty fun given all the cooped up hours of the past week, in lessons, stuffy art rooms, tableless AVA lectures.

literature came next and i think our teacher for Othello's pretty good. i think she's called miss loh. she's cool.

was feeling shitty and hot during lit cause i just sweated and needed a bath. hate that feeling.

got really thirsty. the lesson ended and along with it the day and the week and along came the freedom and happiness of a sunset warming us to an approaching friday night.

on the shore of the mirror, two andrews meet.
a random line, sorry. i picked up a green tea from the canteen and walked to the bus stop with nic tay. i never knew you took bus 53, you know. or i'd have maybe seen you sometime last year on that bus.

on the bus, i was pretty happy listening to music, and i noticed that i felt neither tired nor afternoon-sleepyish. probably the effects of a Friday, i concluded happily. the stupid woman who got on next to me later, talked so loud to her stupid friend and their stupid conversation broke into my paramore. i got off at my bus stop looking pretty pissed i think.

i lost seventy minutes playing football on the computer. here's a football-paragraph: i bought benzema for milan! ohyes, nic's a milan fan. i wonder if he sees this! now my milan team boasts an all star, YOUNG line up of pato, benzema, vander vaart, micah richards, arda turan, quagliarella (portueguese international. real good), cassano, kaka, walcott, akinfeev the russian goalie and some unknowns like chapi and gambino.
sold off useless baggage like ronaldinho and some other oldies whom i didnt need.
was happy.

then i went for dinner, feeling guilty and pretty sick of playing anyway. dinner was spaghetti. hallelujah. i helped myself to three helpings inbetween watching the weekly football hightlights and the world cup of pool. i feel inspired for both sports now.
is pool a sport?

anyway. i then bathed a long bath. i usually spend time thinking or singing so theyre usually long baths. then i realised i left my paints and brushes, and brushes! in the locker. so i made do with one brush and an old watercolour set to do some art. feel happy that i could work at all right now.

midnight comes in fifteen minutes. this weekend, one night's dedicated to a live football match, the other to a family gathering that i shouldnt miss. work comes in the day, so pray that singapore's heatwaves forget to turn up this weekend.

may you have a happy weekend
