i don't like something that starts with 'w' and ends with 'ork'.

now is the time for the 'i dont like's for my posts' titles. somehow the artistic energy that was with me before has done its disappearing act on me again so now i am in a blurry state of mind when it comes to art and to thinking of ideas and drawing and creating arworks. ohmy. i consulted the daily horoscope but apparently nothing has been said about this drain of artistic energy
you have some issues to work out in your subconscious and the only way to figue it out is to let the quiet, weird signals bubble up from deep down below. It's a good time to take stock.
what the hell man horoscope!!
then again maybe the Straits Times does not hire actual horoscopists or astronomers or whatever, i think they just make up the predictions for the day.
"issues to work out in your subconscious". i shall assume that refers to my dreams which means i should sleep more. okay thats good
"let the quiet, weird signals bubble up from deep down below".

okay. i have silently waited for said signals to 'bubble up', i think the horoscope's just referring to burps, because incidentally i have just had a lot to eat for lunch which consisted of nasi lemak and carrot cake and ben and jerry's
as for the "good time to take stock" part i dont understand what that means either.
oh and what a retarded post! i think i'll just keep procrastinating and do other nonsense stuff till i attempt again to revive my creative juices, meaning i sit on my bed and stone-think.
other than art i have other work to do, all of which require brainstorming ohshux. like dear PW, which requires me to think up of something to do about journeys. i actually like doing retarded projects where u can dream up of some superretarded inventions for the fun of it, but it looks like we wont get to do such stuff.
oh and i think i need to read king lear, reminds me. hai. should have realised earlier.

mugfest has begun in nanyang.

i like food, oh

Photobucket
these two were at pastamania, on saturday with the class 4e people . first time in , i think, maybe 25 or so visits to pasta, that i did not eat Creamy Chicken. this one was some sausage thing. it was nice oh it was
and after dinner and after some randoming , we went to parkway macs for supper. nuggets and green tea and curry sauce and tcs. till about eleven i think. then i chiong-ed home to catch the second half of man united's match. as expected, i was really blur at church the next day.
Photobucket
some random sonyericsson advertisment shot i took at the tcs. just put it here since kwok says he wants it
Photobucket
this was saturday too. mos burgers are overpriced
Photobucket
tuesday's subway. i did not take terriyaki chiken for once. cant remember what this one's called, but it has lots of ham and cheese. footlong. nice
and on that day i got broke because i had to pay for the ticket to The Pillowman
Photobucket
and this was today's coffeeshop meal. again, the number 23.
amusing. i always chiong to the Economy rice stall. its so fast. and the Western stall people meanwhile just wait and wait and find that the five dollar western meals are not that great anyway.
bad thing was they did not buy fries so i had nothing to cope.
on saturday i coped mos fries and some pasta
on monday i coped macs fries
on tues i coped a subway cookie
on wed i coped nothing
Photobucket
but i took this during maths, it was etched on my table, while jay's table had 'join girl's soccer ' on it.
"you have been EMO-ed! *slash slash"
Photobucket
paid a visit to gayvid. hwa, someone's photography skills not bad ha hur hur.
for the uninitiated, this is a pink sculpture of David, a replica of the famous michelangelo sculpture. this is in the National Singapore Museum, you can go there to see him.
i think people should start sculpting goliath as well, maybe . oh tall
Photobucket
and recently i have been hunting for rubber ducks because they are part of the idea i am exploring for my UOB painting of the year which i shall from now on refer to as 'the painting'. because right now till god knows when there's only going to be one painting in my mind in my timetable in my life in my ev.er.y.day
these 3 ducklings were at grandma's, they came with a bigger motherducker which could carry all three ducklings on her back. i did not cope them cause they are grandma's and the cousins may want to play with them
so today i went to white sands to comb the area for a rubber duck. searched high and low. high, then low.
all the gift shops dont have them. only those cuddly animal things that don't even come in ducks anyway. lots of turtles. i guess ducks, rubber ducks, are not cool anymore.
but finally my resiliance paid off when i looked thru the whole fairprice and found some ducks lurking somewhere behind the magazines section. ohmy . how high i was.
and then i had to take photos of my new rubber duck in the bathtub. problem was that the plug in the bathtub, the thing that keeps the water from flowing down into the drain. it was loose. i had to keep my foot there to keep it in place so the water wont run away. cue retarded moment. whilst taking all the shots i had to take, my left toe held on to that loose plug to ensure the water stayed where it was. shampoo spamming and some frantic arm waving resulted in lots of bubbles, although not exactly as pretty a sight as i expected. the lighting in the toilet was bad and i was using my phone camera. somehow the phone did not get wet or anything. but the rubber duck smells quite nice now after its first photo shoot.

ohmy for the next amazing race they should get teams to go singapore search for a rubber duck. sheesh.

recently i have been addicted to kanye west's 'stronger'. and to the song 'way back into love'.
oh

guess the odd one out of the logos in the middle of the paper. as in ,not counting the 'm' logo and the rainbow thing hurh

i like the smell of rainy days

-quick apologies if your mouse's scroll wheel is spoilt-
well. i was thinking. how to make this blog a bit deeper? cause i been talking a bit too much about my life but not my thoughts. so i should

go deeper

like real deep

you know? deep down

that deep

like maybe

this deep

yup. that'll do. well. so i been typing this proposal for my ideas for that UOB painting of the year competition which we art peeps have to enter. actually its the second proposal i will be submitting to ms hew, cause the first was total crap. okay not total. just relatively crappier.
here it is anyway, the second proposal

Idea 1. Singaporeans are spoilt
I feel that Singaporeans are a spoilt bunch. We take too many things for granted. We occupy ourselves with our busy careers, holidays and shopping sprees.

We fail to notice that in Afghanistan, people struggle with the government’s poor infrastructure. Land mines are a part of everyday life. Terrorism is a real threat there everyday. In Singapore, one terrorist escapes, and already there are people quick to lay the blame on the government.
In Africa, many Africans face the threat of death and violence everyday due to ethnical conflicts there. The plight of some Africans here was mentioned in feature articles in The Straits Times’ March 8th issue, prompting me to ponder this topic.
Many Africans dream of life in a place like Singapore, yet for the few who do make it here, they end up working in labour-intensive jobs. In Singapore, I observe that many youth do not realize how privileged we are to even have a decent education and living.

There are numerous other issues others face that Singaporeans don’t. However I feel the most glaring issue we overlook is the freedom we have. In the short space of forty or so years, many Singaporeans seem to have forgotten the terrors of our nation’s past: the Japanese occupation and our colonial history.

We are lucky to be where we are now, and I want to highlight the things that we take for granted (eg. Freedom, shopping sprees, safety, stable government, we are always ‘cutting queues’ ) .

Idea 2. Family Ties
Through first hand observation I have noticed how family ties that were once strong, have thinned with the passing of time. People become more and more attached to their careers and friends, and family time becomes just a weekly obligation, a once-in-a-week thing.

I thought of the imagery of a rubber duck and bathtub.
When we were young, we played in our bathtubs, the rubber duck being our companion. As we grow older, we relax our tired muscles and minds in the bathtub after a hard day’s work. Rather than going to the bathtub to indulge in fun and happiness, we turn to it only when we are down and tired.

And slowly, the rubber duck drifts away from our lives, forgotten and neglected, something we no longer want to associate ourselves with.

In this analogy, the bathtub and rubber duck symbolize our families and childhood past respectively. Like the bathtub, our families are always there for us, yet now, we turn to it for different reasons as in the past. Like the rubber duck, innocent childish fun is something we no longer wish to associate ourselves with.

Even though we may not wish for such things to happen to our family relationships, they are inevitable due to the demands of our materialistic ever-changing fast-paced world.

beautiful. it's in deep red. deep
anyway. no coping of ideas people. and no copying either. i will sue
the initial idea was on environmental issues. sort of inspired by sian ru who is obsessed with trees and wave forms. i was thinking of trees and here's an excerpt from my pensieve
how nice it would be to have trees in heaven?
yah. we been cutting down so many trees, what wrong have they done? i can portray tree stumps at the bottom of the painting and the trees in the sky, in heaven, on top.
how cute. then again. it's slightly retarded and to be honest, this issue is, among my three ideas, the most cliche , i would say .
and speaking of heaven
last night i was watching this movie called what dreams may come . i think it's quite old, maybe 1990s, it stars robin williams. i quite like his acting. he's not good looking, but i find that he has a very genuine face, a very genuine smile. i like his movies, i have watched patch adams and mrs doubtfire and planning to watch jakob the liar soon
anyway. i found this movie at a clearance sale and it sounded interesting. well, it is about this guy who is a doctor. his wife's a painter. they both like paintings and appreciate paintings. then one fine day both their kids die. then you go to four years later and chris (r. williams) dies in a car accident. naturally annie his wife is distraught. chris finds himself in some dreamy landscape and discovers he is inside the beautiful landscapes that his wife painted. like when he moves around the paint squishes around too, how cool.
apparently, this 'heaven', was created by him. i think when you die, your mind sort of creates your own heaven that you can visually physically see. but the fact is, heaven's not about paintings of flowers and rivers and beautiful scenery and sky. no matter what heaven you create for yourself, it's really all about living in things that make you happy, living with the knowledge that you exist, emphasis being on 'you' and 'exist'. okay.
you exist. what's this 'you' in 'you exist'? is it your heart? no it's just a body part! your brain then? no its just a body part too! ah. 'you'. it is just 'you'. like. your soul.
so heaven's all about being happy knowing that you do exist, that you have life.
and back to the story, his wife commits suicide! and bad news, suicides don't go to heaven. well, in heaven, this chris guy has already found his two kids, but duh, he is not happy. he wants to go find his wife who happens to be . in. hell. yay!
and hell's not all fire and flames and all that physical torture and pain. its more mental torture. hell is all about losing your mind, losing control of your life. so you see lots of lost souls crying and wailing in despair there, and when he pays his visit to hell, chris is filled with these visions of his past mistakes, quarrels with his kids, his wife.
he is forewarned by some wise soul that even if he finds his wife in hell, nothing he does can make her recognise him. so well, he does find here. but she is so disshevelled, so crazed, so lost. miserable existance
they converse in this wreck of a house that's a replica of their actual house on earth. she cant recognise him and he's really hurt seeing her suffering without being able to comfort her, as a husband.
well but then anyway he comes out after a while. sad and all. but he does not give up, although this wise old guy is persuading him to just go back to heaven to happiness and to his kids.
he just stays in that house talking to his lost wife. well at this point i was quite sleepy and blur but anyway the point is he didnt give up so , cue happy ending, he succeeds in bringing them both back to heaven. yahuh, they happy they hug they reunite with their kids.
themes the movie touched on are life and death, and love, and maybe a bit of faith.
"the thought is real. only the physical (stuff) is fake. ironic huh?"
hm. quite chim. but i got the point although i dont think i explain it quite well here.
hais. anyway
it's quite an interesting movie. just ignore some of the cheesy visuals because i think 1990s' special effects were quite sucky haha. and you'll enjoy the message the movie is sending.

yea pastamania at parkway.
this morning just could not keep up with the maths lecture, i think lecture style's not good for me, and i cannot do binomial. hating maths
and then i was approached by some people who are putting a proposal for a 'joke club'. they are serious about it. haha oxymoron. they are serious about forming a joke club! i dont know what to say! they going to tell jokes in assembly and organise events! oh
then waited for Lit , outside LT1. continued watching the bourne ultimatum on derrick's ipod. its so exciting and he's so cool.
Lit dealt with identity: names and genders. oh names oh names. what great identity they give us. my name means manly. oh how apt
and oh gender. oh the stereotypical alpha males and females. how dumb it sounds. oh
today in places:
home-bus stop-bus-nyjc-nyjc-nyjc-art computer room-parkway-banquet-random walking-mac shop-borders-pasta-library-bus stop-mrt-bus stop-home.
oh
oh
how tired i am. oh. and there is an art proposal to do. i think i am in danger of losing my life to AEP once again. nevermind, i must prepare myself for MugFest 2008. oh no
meanwhile i have thought of a few new URLs for my blog. as in the link.
oh. i feel everytime i use the computer, i have the obligation to come and blog. oh
yeayea yea i managed to reclaim a diving bell movie ticket stub! i wonder if there is a word for 'collecting things'.

i like ferris wheels

i like ferris wheels. i'm reading this book 'the five people you meet in heaven' and its very nice, gives an interesting view of what heaven might be like. and i like the places described by the author , the imagery's very nice.
Photobucket
haha! thanks derrick for helping me position her. haha!
Photobucket
hur hur . wanna be in my shoes?! my blog's getting more and more retarded!!
Photobucket
pastamania says i'll get married at 33...not bad, at least better than that carls jrs
Photobucket
but the coffeeshop outside NY's even better!!
Photobucket
wahaha. u just cant walk into one of the top JCs in singapore like a king like you own the place. got called back by the security guard who says averagely friendly enough things but all with that pissedoff-ur not welcome here face.
felt quite shuang with this golden ticket. incidentally, it costs 30 bucks. this thing. if u lose it.
hehe. after the securityguard encounter i met some PE teacher. heard all the PE teachers here combine to form one supermobile scold ppl everywhere discipline master. and well he look at me and ask if i'm a student. making sure i'm scoldable. well i said i'm not, i am here to appeal to RJC. so he directed me to general office. wahaha
Photobucket
well. so cute. even heads of departments have an aircon rep. and this was under the noticeboard in their office headed 'urgent matters'. hahar
heh heh heh
har har
hahaaha
muahaha
hur hur
so many forms of laughter. i like mr alvin lau's one! as in his real laughter, sometimes when he tells a joke or laughs at one, i think most of the people laugh not because the joke's funny. we just laugh at his laughter. seriously . u got to hear it
seriously funny. ha. an oxymoron
Photobucket
oh a really good comic. (after vee jay see i went to marine parade library to stock up on comics. quite sian, now only max four books can be borrowed. last time was 8! so i had to pangseh a superman and a spiderman and another book. i'll be back to borrow them!! anyway lol it only opend at 10 the libry. so i camp outside about ten plus mins. first time i was one of the first to chiong into libry. not only me, about like seven other enthu peeps waiting for it to open too.)
anyway. its about this boy and his father who works for a gangster boss. the father's a really good assasin but a good man. so cool, ppl call him 'archangel of death'. his name is michael. and so he gets screwd by his own boss, loses his wife and kid, so flees with his other kid and goes about repaying the damage. so cool. the art is sooo cool. amazing stuff. and storytelling seems so easy with these pro writers. damn i wish i could write like that.
i also borrowed two batmans. one by frank miller and another about him encountering zombies. uber random. but some of the cover art looked interesting. and i borrowed a superman. i like superman. not his powers, they're too good and not as original as spiderman. but sometimes superman emo till quite nice. i read quite a few good ones. like 'superman for all seasons' i have it at home.
batman's the most cheat superhero! i mean. he has no special powers! haha. i like daredevil too! he's cool and he does emo well too. and he's not as much a poser as batman! batman uber pose haha! like go everywhere also must flex muscles. i think its more or less the same for all these superheroes though. ..
daredevil by alex maleev-michael bendis was a really good series. and for batman. there's some by jeph loeb-time sale. like them. i like most of the batman series' concepts, theyre interesting. like 'the long halloween'. a serial killer who murders on public hols, every month starting halloween. finally caught on the next halloween. quite cool, just go read it.
if i were to choose a power, i might want to fly. dont want invisibility anymore, so cheeko la haha. or maybe to read people's minds?.. or maybe to be able to summon anything. then dont need to worry about forgetting to bring stuff again. ya. i like it

oh it was sad...

o, 一路向北 has become my Official Emo Song.
its like. i'm wearing the vjc pe attire now. i mean. wow. it's called shorts for a reason. walk home then ppl all look at my legs..
oO i hate the VJC LT5!! firstly there's no phone reception there! sian. so jian of them. and then and then its cold. nvm that. and then and then and then the tables are so irritating!! like. the type where it folds back down very easily. ai. i should hav taken a photo.
like when ur leaning slightly on it. it will fold back down. twice. like, twice i did just that and my p case and papers went flying. and its not just me! like every five mins, some person will kena the trap ya haha. so pissed at it.
and Orientation 2 is like. unenthu-ness. so many ppl ponn and the mood is like. some mini orientation for them N2 OGLs. Ha! feeling supersad now. (oh and i have come up with my own term for the ogls' acts of uberenthuness and high-ity. its called ogling!! yea)
i shall attempt to continue haha-ing thru life..like, i really admire those ppl who when they're sad they still bravely smile for every1 and be happy for every1. (whoohoo emo emo lalala. but seriously..)
i say too many 'like' s.
wah. last night couldnt sleep. some damn smart mosquito decided to do his rounds around me. little bugger. how to catch him in the dark. wa ruined my whole night! i'll SMASH the next mozzie i catch i swear. little bugger.
and er. ok. yesterday i was randoming at tampines. wore my man u jersey out! so happily. haha. the thing about football jerseys is u can only wear when ur team is winning.
i think most of the times blog posts are boring without pictures, so here goes...
yesterday in pictures. random pictures.
Photobucket
yay. mini cube. normal cube. and big cube. so cute.
Photobucket
hai. kwokcheung's expression sort of ruins this otherwise romantic shot.
anyway. we were at mac and we noticed on the tv screen, at the bottom of it, were some text msgs scrolling along. u can send 'chat (space) ur msg' to 78800. its free. and i was like laughing at those 'dear so and so i lub u 4eva muax' stuff. hahar. and we sent our own msgs.
first jordan did one. by his look i knew he was gonna sabo me. so i thot i'd just return the favour. i sent in '(name of his crush) i hate u ! jordan'. ohwell. he has so many girls in his spiderweb anyway. cant hurt to lose one ,even if she is top of his list. and btw. he didnt really sabo me. but i didnt feel bad either. i just felt like my wallet was really heavy and i had to lighten it up. so i emptied some coins which jordan took to the counter at mac. (rmb all this happend at mac. haha camping session). welll i told him to put it in the donation box there. and he came back triumphantly holding a sixty-cents ice cream. bloodyhell fat guy, huh some 'free gift' huh. go donate coins they give u free ice cream. nice1
i actually feel better now! like. not as sad anymore. ohwell. maybe i just been tired. its such a hot day. and incidentally i dont rmb the weather being rainy recently...like when i walk home everyday, i pass by the canal and its always always empty and smelly and dry.
Photobucket
that saturday at carls jr. well, according to hanhao, the number u got is the age u'll get married at. rarh i'm number 43. hinkai got 18 i think(notpictured). the 28 is hanhao, married at the peak of his life. and kwokcheungs the 32, a mature age. walao. my number sucks. haha
but when we got the trays hor. mine was the tray with number 32 written on it so...

anyway. i decided to look through the pictures from my phone camera. and well looking at old pics i find it always just brings a smile to ur face. ha just share some of them here. photospam!
hooyah
Photobucket
first up. one of the two routes i walk home by. both are as long. this one is smellier cause i walk by the canal. the other one , i take it everyday this yr. but u need to cross a road so there's more danger!
Photobucket
victorian challenge 07. i guess its bound to bring a smile to every victorian's face. this was class 4E's project! yea. and on the right is our vandalism-signature wall...
Photobucket
yay. my red handprints gonna remain there forever and ever. so cool. like. ten yrs' time i go back there and see how much my palm has grown. ha
Photobucket

Photobucket
and speaking of emo kids they dont seem to be short of them at vs huh? this was some peeps' work done using those nike-squirt waterbottles. ironically ur probably smiling while seeing this hah
Photobucket
the media lab was so much fun .well i nvr indulged in these activities ever but quite alot of ppl seemd addicted..
Photobucket
ah. my bus stop is one of the four bus stops ppl go to. probably e most ulu. cause only one bus goes there. and there's lotsa vandalism! this one was my fave! somehow around before the olevels some idiot took the effort to go erase ALL the vandalism. like all. but naturally these vandalisms were replaced with new ones.
Photobucket
soup of the day at pastamania!!

oh and ohohoh. yesterday i randoming on comp so went to the myheritage.com. they let u choose a pic frm ur comp , and they compare the faces in that pic with their database of celebs. it basically tells u which celebs u look like. give u a list of top ten matches. according to percentage lookalike-o-meter score.
tell u first, some pics dont work. but some do!
i went to flickr look for ppl's pix of me.
wow. i got tom cruise! 61 percent. hey. take note this is the guy who ppl say has a face that fits the golden ratio, phi , perfectly. WOWo. so my face is 61 percent perfect. muahahar!
even happier. another pic and i got ella from s.h.e!! yay ella. ella's such a beautiful name dont u think? its like so happy sounding. i want my kid to be called ella.
the face matches i get normally consist of koreans, men and women. mostly women tho. i think its my sharp features. like. i once got rain on a 70percent match. hm....has got to be those smalll eyes of mine. small small sneaky eyes ohyes

sunday morning monday night

i kind of like the title.
anyway, i was up into the whee hours of sunday morning and yea it was so worth it. i watch man u play every weekend and for the past two weeks i been rather agonised but this week was Shiiiiiiokkkkkkkkk!!

man u owned arsenal 4-0. and it sure felt good.

i remember i was like ten plus minutes late for the match cause i was chatting msn. then i went to switch on the tv and went toilet. and just nice as i was still peeing, i heard the sound of the crowd cheering. a goal had definitely been scored. i quickly washed hands and emerged to see man u celebrating. woot. i was so happy. and minutes later they scored a second. woa damn, i just went to the open balcony and yelled woooot into the night sky, into the sleeping condominium. i was so happy

and i still am!
Photobucket
the kite runner. i read the book already. the movie is not as good. maybe it doesnt really feel right, it seems rushed. more like a movie adapted from a good book, than a good movie by itself. thats how i felt.
but more interestingly
i read about it so i just decided to try it out. we were at cathay cineleisure and you can go to a counter at the 6th floor, above spiderman's butt. you place ur food order there, and about twenty plus mins after ur movie starts they deliver ur food in, and the hot fresh smells waft to the rest of the jealous people in the theatre. my fish and chips was fresh. and not bad. but let me tell you first, its HARD TO EAT IN THE DARK. and just as hard to eat, to cut thru the crunchy loud-sounds-making fish in the middle of a quiet movie without feeling embarrassed. at least this was kite runner, not dab. its like those popcorn crunching decibel defying loud irritating people. so i just waited for the parts of the movie which are louder then i chiong my fish. haha.
but yea it felt..gold class to hav the food delivered in like that. i went into the gold class theatre in GV before but just to look see.
the meal was five something bucks. there is also spaghetti but i think that'll be quieter to eat (slurpslurp) although u cant keep ur eyes on the screen that way.
and incidently i never been to a theatre on the ninth floor of the cineleisure till now. and incidently too, cathay's ticket stubs always seem to fade out. i keep all my movie ticket stubs. i better not let this one fade away, mayb i'll go scan it. ahaha.
scan
ah, used the art room scanner for my drawing. feel in more inspired mood this week. for art that is.
Photobucket
its called 'chirp woof chirp' . its on my deviant anyway, go there to give ur constructive comments
and i got the 300 comic!! woot. the movie is just like the comic. the images. the scenes. ah, the benefits of greenscreeen. ( the vs aep is always going on about their bluescreen, but in this movie their imba visuals were done on green screen)

我不卖豆腐(豆腐) 豆腐(豆腐)
我在武功学校里学的那叫功夫 功夫(功夫) 功夫(功夫)
赶紧穿上旗袍 免得你说我吃你豆腐

ohman i am addicted to this song. two days and i played it 46 times. 周大侠 :)

yea and i tried the ham minisub at subway. well, its mini. and so much for freeflow drinks, at subway its one-dollar-twenty-flow. haiz. i love carls jr.

today's PE was touch rugby. ohwell, a bit on the confusing side. at ball games i am always bad at dribbling, or running with the ball or whatever. i think i'm better at my positioning. know where to camp to score a tyco goal.

anyway! ohya. lit today was ,well, more like serious lit. not fun, but it was lit. it was. ouch. ya, it was very ouch. we touched on a disturbing disturbing text. as in a really disturbing really disturbing text.

pretty pink pencils

Photobucket
happy valentines day!
in the morning, went GP lecture, went physics seminar, then library. collecting sweets along the way. the sweets starting coming in from assembly, quite a change from the quiet valentine days we had in VS.
there was the lit peeps performances at the drum, the library. didnt do anything. oops. anyway muyao sang like quite nervous, how unlike him. i got videos of him, mr kwek the P and ms kwok . but the camera only handled the vids in one min segments so every min i had to stop take a new video, ya.
and at the library i began learning to fold origami roses! quite laggy to do that at the time but anyway, for next year! or for white day, fifteenth march, where its the guys who give presents to girls.
Photobucket
Photobucket
my ingenious method of doing the folding didnt work..you must fold out the grids, not draw them
Photobucket
and yea check out the lion i got from debra! i kind of have a soft spot for soft toys, and this guy even stuck to Prosperity Jacket.
i shall name the lion 'Roar' for now
Photobucket
Roar seen here attempting to devour a hippo
oh and today i had the most free periods, so i passed time by practicing my origami roses.
Photobucket
not bad now huh. i then did a blue one and a lavender one. although derrick did a gold one and it was so nice..i still need help in the 'twisting' step.

aar. so many sweets still in the bag i brought along specially for yesterday. honestly, i've only eaten the ferrero rochers so far. but i really really appreciate everything everyone has given me because i think in the end valentines day is all about feeling loved, by more ppl the merrier

and to all those who got MY gift,..
Photobucket
the majority went to the AEP people and i was thinking, since its art class and i dont want to just give a cliche chocolate gift that will not last, why not give something they can keep and use? soft toys are nice but i just thought of the pencils. shaved of some part at the base to write each and everyone's names. hope u all liked it, to those who didnt receive its not because i dislike you, but more like i probably didnt get the chance to pass it to you that day..what with all my rose-folding i was quite busy

oh and i cut myself abit while carving one of the pencils! hurmph . and i had a choice between these pencils and the fabercastell ones. these ones are twice the price of fabercastell. but i bought them anyway cos theyre pink and the box says its 'the better pencil'. ohwell then

and then dinner was at pizza hut at marina square. sorry i didnt really take candid shots much.
Photobucket

here are flower buds thrown into the singapore river. one of us was doing 'he loves me, he loves me not'. it was quite dark, but doesnt this look quite like a nice abstract painting?

this is really quite photo spam, i shall put the vids another time. to end off, here is the AEP 'family tree'. aha
Photobucket
oops. shant say who wrote that. there are manymany ppl not included but its hard to think of roles for them without giving the muyao-sianru couple too many offsprings!
Photobucket
(bottom row left to right) deborah, qixuan, sianru, kao, ling, derrick, erpei

just as a reference to family tree. this was after the pizza hut dinner. so qiao weiliang and chester from vs were there to take the photo. and whoever said i am photogenic, deborah are you blind?!

"it's a gift"

haha today's lit lecture was damn funny! we were doing LOTR and there was this spoof , u have to view the original (above video) first, its more funny that way. enjoy!

LOL! now you know where i got this post's title from
waw i havent blogged since sunday morning i think. thats four days, so i shall recap now on the weeks happenings

sunday. at night i watched man u play man city. we lost 2-1. i felt the special commemorative jerseys they were wearing was damn cool. quote commentator" they look more like footballers and less like billboards now"

monday. heart still very very pain because of the football match. i try to teach myself not to let my happiness and mood depend on football. in lit seminar i still had to endure the 'comedy show'. on the bright side i discovered spongebob in the lit classroom, i never knew he was there. so he watched the comedy with me. maths still very blur, although after todays lecture i think i'm better with inequalities. as usual they are re-teaching us old stuff...or cheem-ized old stuff.

tuesday. aha. during civicstutorial i snapped a papparazzi shot. ahaha some1 brought his friend into the classroom so here they are, being dealt with by the teacher. ah, young love...
Photobucket
muahaha.
anyway. ohya we had our GP presentation. mr tom hanks teacher called out a name from the classlist and just nice was chris' name. ohwell. i didnt really see the slides beforehand so i just had to crap my way thru. think i crapped quite well. ahaha. skill-ded. i think all the teachers know chris now lor. mayb even the whole of the J1 cohort. huh.
and derrick does the most random things during art lesson.
Photobucket
the blutack swan. on the serene sea of blue that is the art room table.
and ohoh i saw in the papers : 'Jesus items yanked off shelves here'. i am a catholic and i respect god and all that, but i found this news so funny! "printed on Topman's 'looking good for jesus' kit (containing lip balm, body and hand cream, and a mirror) are the phrases 'Redeem you Reputation and More!' and 'Get His attention.' "
as well as stuff like 'Redeem yourself in His eyes'. i mean, its so what the hell, its so lol.

wednesday. today! lit lecture as i said was megafunny. and for most of the day the art peeps were taking photos for our homework and i cleverly forgot my camera . even worse,
I FORGOT TO BRING MY JACKET TODAY! MY PROSPERITY JACKET!
so today not much luck la i guess. aar. i knew it. but at least i passed the art online quiz. lol we suspiciously got more or less the same marks as each other.

here's some of the shots i took on my phone today. yea well done me!
(sorry for the photo spam , if its lagging ur internet, or if u are viewing this on the school library's SUPERFAST computers. ahaha.)
